Privacy policy

What we collect

Identity details (name, PAN, Aadhaar-based eKYC result), contact details (mobile, email, address), financial details (income, bank statements, bureau report) and technical data such as device and IP for fraud prevention.

Why we collect it

To verify who you are, assess creditworthiness, share your application with an RBI-registered lending partner, service your loan and meet legal and regulatory obligations.

What we never access

We do not read your contacts, photo gallery, call logs or SMS inbox. One-time SMS access is never required to use CredBean.

Sharing

Data is shared only with lending partners, KYC and bureau providers, and payment processors, all under contract. We never sell your data to advertisers.

Retention & security

Data is stored encrypted in transit and at rest on servers located in India, retained for as long as regulation requires, and deleted thereafter.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent for non-essential processing, by writing to hello@credbean.com.
